Angela Hill on Photographing the Iconic X-Girl Show

In 1994, X-Girl — the cult streetwear label founded by Kim Gordon of Sonic Youth and Daisy von Furth— staged a guerrilla-style fashion show on the streets of Soho, produced by Sofia Coppola and Spike Jonze. Photographer and Idea Books Co-Founder Angela Hill was there to capture the moment. Decades later, she rediscovered the negatives and turned them into a book.
