At GANNI SS26 Summer Belongs to Everyone.

For GANNI’s SS26 presentation, Creative Director Ditte Reffstrup brought us back to her seaside childhood in Hirtshals, Denmark, evoking summers full of innocence, self-discovery and freedom, titled “Summer Belongs To Everyone”.

Presented during Paris Fashion Week, inside the Bastille Design Center in Paris, the space offered a breath of fresh air amid a hectic schedule. Peaceful sunlight, calming textures, soft floral scents — everything felt slowed down. The latest wardrobe of the GANNI Woman celebrates courage and individuality, evolving naturally like the rhythms of nature.

Bold colour clashes, patchwork styling and graphic prints inspired by glimpses of childhood memories looking through a car window. Tulip shapes and delicate crochet work invite you to tie, twist and wrap pieces as you like. The showroom felt peaceful and airy, flooded by natural light, a quiet refuge where excitement came from seeing detail, how fabrics drape, how colours shift in the light.

Ditte Reffstrup: “Summer has always been a time of discovery for me. Those fragments of childhood stay with you and shape who you become. With this collection, we wanted to turn those fleeting moments into something lasting; a wardrobe that honours the past while giving space for the GANNI Woman within all of us to grow on her own terms. ”

Amongst a week dominated by huge designer debuts and grand, expensive shows, GANNI SS26 stood strong as a moment of calm peace and beauty amongst the chaos.
