Perfect˙ exclusive: Charli XCX-founded band, Nasty Cherry, releases new music video for ‘Her Body’.
After bursting onto the musical scene in 2019 with their catchy sound and lyrics, Nasty Cherry enjoyed the kind of buzz that made everyone keep an eye on them. And we did. Their Netflix docu-series, I'm with the Band: Nasty Cherry, was released in six episodes that depict the reality of starting an all-female band in 2019. The band, founded by Charli XCX and composed of singer Gabby Bechtel, drummer Debbie Knox-Hewson, guitarist Chloe Chaidez, and bassist Georgia Somary, is now releasing a new music video for Her Body. The song inserts itself in the sentimental ballad universe, exploring the complexity of a romantic relationship with a love triangle backdrop. The music video, directed by Dana Boulos, is as enthralling and mischievous as the song. Her Body, just like the band’s first hit Win, is an easy-to-listen, well-produced Pop anthem that precedes the band’s forthcoming 3rd EP, Nasty Cherry: The Movie, coming out April, 2, 2021.
